In our group, I think one practical way is just through following up when someone shares a concern. Personally, I send a card and follow up with a phone call when someone seems to be going through a hard time. Last Fall, it seemed several in our group naturally did this for each other. During prayer requests, it's normal to ask for updates or check in with each other. It's really awesome to know those in our group call each other or meet for lunch when someone expresses a need. I try to model this myself.
Great suggestion Tasha. Such a positive habit to model among the ladies that may not naturally put these actions into practice like sending cards, making phone calls, etc. to encourage each other and do life with them throughout the week as well as Wednesdays.
