“I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.'

Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?

And the King will tell them, 'I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!' (Matthew 25:36-40)

In what way is your small group serving in an Outreach Activity this week?

  2. Our group is providing food for the Hamilton County Food Pantry @ Third Phase. We are also having a social movie-time watching
    "One Night With The King".
I'm sure we will have several laughs at Hollywood's take on Esther!

  3. Our group is assembling zip lock bags of food to give to the homeless. We planned it over dinner at On the Border and went to the Dollar Tree as a group to buy several items. We will each bring food to assemble and divide it up to pass out on our own when we see homeless people on the street.

  4. We are making 5 Easter baskets for kids at the Agape House. As I've talked to women in the group this week, we have all had a BLAST buying for these baskets. I can't wait to see them all assembled!

  5. This morning our group went to the Agape house, a home for foster children, which keeps sibling groups together. There are currently 8 children living there, cared for by the foster mom, Sherri. We painted the family room a pretty blue she had picked out, rearranged the furniture and left it looking awesome! We also each took a meal for her to freeze. We had a great time serving! Karen

  6. Our group decided to serve at Grace. We organized the Navigator files in the communications office and put Tim Ayers' name in his books. We met for a social time and prayer before going to out posts. It was a good morning!

  7. Our group served at Third Phase this week. We had a good time of organizing and rearranging. Some of us organized the kids books and toys section (still much to be done here, but it looks so much better!), some organized kids clothes, and we also helped redesign the "learning room" where the ladies are tutored or work on reading, etc. We are thinking about doing it as a group more frequently!
